Truck Delivery Shipping Policy

Note: If the customer returns the item(s) for any reason except that it is defective, customer is responsible for outgoing freight as well as return freight.
1. If you require any type of special delivery for large items please let us know at the time of ordering. There may be additional charges for items such as lift-gates, special size truck, etc. We will contact you before shipping if additional charges will apply.
2. The trucking service will contact you 2-3 days before delivery to schedule the delivery time.
3. Please be there to sign for the delivery and inspect the item carefully for potential damages.
4. If a residential delivery, the delivery driver will deliver your items to the curbside of your home. They are not responsible for taking the product onto your driveway or into your home. Therefore, moving the item from curbside may require your assistance. You can always ask the driver to assist you and they may but they are not required.
Truck deliveries (These are noted at the end of each Product Description) to a commercial business address or for pick up at your local freight terminal are included in the sales price, to all locations in the lower 48 contiguous states. There is a Up Charge for Residential Deliveries (Normally $20 - $60). There is a Up Charge for Lift Gate Service. These are NOT included but are an extra charge. Your credit card will not be charged until we have contacted you and provided the extra charge for residential deliveries and/or lift gate service. Due to the weight and size of many large or heavy items they must be sent via independent freight carriers. Here are a few things to note:
The customer is responsible for unloading the item(s) from the truck. Truck drivers are not responsible for getting oversized items off the truck. Some heavier items may need two people to unload them. Please keep these things in mind when ordering and getting ready to pick up the items and unload them.
IMPORTANT - Please inspect freight BEFORE YOU SIGN for it. Note on the freight bill any obvious damage at the time of delivery. Failure to do so will result in you or your company being liable for the damaged merchandise. Notify the carrier immediately upon delivery of any noticeable damage. We cannot assist you in working out a settlement with the carrier unless they are immediately notified of the damage. If you suspect internal damage open the items and inspect them right away! Even if no damaged goods are suspected, open the carton within 24 hours and make a thorough inspection. Hold all damaged goods and their packaging materials for inspection by the carrier. Please make sure you retain a signed copy of the Bill of Lading or shipping paperwork for your records.
Once you are contacted for delivery by the carrier, it is your responsibility to accept delivery unless other arrangements are made. Any storage fees incurred due to failure to accept delivery will be the customers responsibility.
In the event a customer refuses shipment after shipping from the factory, the customer will be responsible for all freight charges to and from the shipping location and a 20% restocking fee.
In the event a customer requests to pick up a shipment at a local freight company terminal and the customer does not pick up the shipment, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping both to and from the freight terminal and a restocking fee.
