Fast penetration: the back-firing jets on a sewer jetter nozzle pull the jetter line into clogged pipes using the force of water from your pressure washer. In contrast, a mechanical drain cleaner uses an electric motor that twists a cable into the drain by mechanical force. Due to the thousands of potential fittings/adaptors & pressure washers, it is the customers responsibility to make sure the accessory purchased will work with your pressure washer or hose. It is best to do this BEFORE purchasing your pressure washer equipment. Note: The nozzles on this page are 1/4" in size. This means you will need to adapt it to your pressure washer hose if you have the standard 1/4" pressure washer hose. What would this look like? Check out the beginning of the video above to see that they basically put a 1/4" male quick connect plug into the end of the sewer jetter nozzle. Then they made up an adaptor consisting of a 1/4" female quick connector, a 1/4" to 1/4" pipe fitting adaptor and finally a 1/4" quick connect plug that all snaps into the end of the hose which is a 1/4" female quick connect coupling.
